Dr. J.K. Warrick, one of six general superintendents in the Church of the Nazarene denomination, reflects on a recent visit to Cusu, Peru, where Roger and Mary Winans started the Church of the Nazarene in the early 1900s.

Dr. Warrick retraces their steps by foot and oxcart from the coast, along a dangerous river, to the place in which they planted their first church. He describes the state of the church today in Peru.
