Salvation is not by works but no one is saved unless someone works. That thought changed my life. I suddenly realized that it wasn't enough to just think about what Jesus would do, I needed to start doing what Jesus would do. That brought me into missions and changed my life.

The night I had planned to kill myself, I cried out in a loud voice: “If God exists, if He is real, then I don’t have to do this and I will be happy one day.”

One day while I was sweeping the floor, my pastor came to me and asked me a confusing and terrifying question: “Do you want to be a pastor? Has God called you to be a pastor?”

I asked God to confirm the reason why I was on earth, because, until now, my decisions were based on my own desires. However, in that moment I needed to hear His voice. God answered my prayers. His Word was so real for me, like the air that I breathe and the blood that runs through my veins.
